Gaming Laptops Unleashed

Gaming laptops are power houses capable of dealing with the massive performance requirements modern 3D games have. A regular store-bought laptop might have a few perks, but with the standard 1GB RAM configuration, a lousy 1.6GHz CPU and a built in graphic card, you are sure to get some pretty low FPS in almost any modern games that hits the market… that’s if they will run on such a low spec laptop. Some things to look for in a gaming laptop:The first and most important thing is the graphics card. Almost all standard models carry a built-in graphics card which sucks away available RAM to run properly and display the actual image. The first thing to look for in a gaming laptop is, of course, a dedicated graphics card, preferably, one made by ATI or nVidia. These are the two leading giants in all that is graphics card, be they desktop graphics cards or mobile laptop graphics cards. Even if you want to game perfectly on your laptop, you have to make sure that it carries a high end graphics card from these two manufacturers. There are plenty of low-end graphics cards designed for something else (movie watching, good image display in graphics editing programs, and whatnot). Some of the newer models of laptops have incorporated the SLI interface and can carry up to two cards which run together to display the perfect image in all it’s glory. Also, a few newer models even offer the possibility of true 3D gaming, with 3D glasses and all that. These don’t come cheap just yet, but if gaming is your dogma, then you simply must have one of these babies!Newer Graphics Cards from nVidia, for example, have the dual-GPU technology built into them, so it would be like having an SLI configuration with just one graphics card. These beauties also pack quite a punch since they carry about 1 GB of dedicated memory, so you know you’ve got it right when you get one of these.System memory – RAMOn a gaming laptop, the largest amount of system RAM you can get, the better.A large amount of RAM installed on a gaming laptop will allow you to run the newest games, and, if your laptop has a built-in video card, then some of that RAM will be shared with the video card, so a large amount is needed for both graphic processing and software running.Although it’s not recommended that a gaming laptop have a built-in video card, you could probably get away if the RAM installed is in the 2-4 GB range. That way, you are sure to be able to play the latest games, but not with all specs maxed out. Let’s face it; a built-in graphics card just cannot handle such requirements the newer games have.CPU – The gaming laptops overall speed will be determined by the processor it carriesA laptop with a decent dual core CPU will probably do just fine if the other specs are maxed. Take notice that if you choose to go with high-end CPUs for your gaming laptop, the heat build up could be pretty big, and this can impact the overall system performance. To counter this, a metal case would be recommended for your gaming laptop, since plastic cases are heat insulators, but metal is a heat conductor thus helping the heat dissipate a lot faster. Look for cooling options that go with your new gaming laptop, since a small fan might not be enough when the beast runs the newest game…Another thing to look for in your gaming laptop is it’s hard drive. I’m not referring strictly to the storage size, but that’s important also if you want to install a lot of games and spend eternity in gaming heaven! A good starting hard drive would be in the 100-250GB range as storage goes. The thing you should be looking for in a gaming laptops hard drive is its speed. Look for the ones which carry the 7200 rpm hard drives. Those are a lot faster than the traditional 5400 rpm HDDs. But since technology evolves at a faster pace nowadays, you should keep an eye out for the prices of SSD (Solid State Disks) which don’t require spinning disks to run, thus conferring a lot of durability to the hard drive and a longer life. It is the fastest hard drive on the market today, but it does have a big price tag attached to it. The storage isn’t great on these things, but that’s why you should be looking for more developments being made and maybe get one when the price range is convenient for you. You won’t regret doing this.As a conclusion, when choosing the best gaming laptop out there, try to figure out your budget first, and set the following specs in accordance:RAM- this is one of the two most important features your gaming laptop has to have! Aim at 4GB specs configuration and never settle for anything less.Dedicated video card- look for the ones that carry an nVidia dedicated card or an ATI model, or, even cooler, a dual card configuration with two cards hooked up in SLI mode.Processor- this one is could get pretty hard to choose, but aim higher than 2 cores. Don’t go with the single core CPU, since you’ll be cursing the day you did so. Systems tend to freeze up when they can’t handle the amount of data being processed. Make sure you are ready and get yourself a Quad Core CPU if possible.Hard Drive- I would say go with the SSD all the way, but, if it’s too expensive, then choose a 7200 rpm hard drive for your gaming laptop.Screen Size- if it’s a gaming laptop, you want to make sure you can see what you’re aiming at in your game. So anything that goes 15.4 inch diagonal and above should do just fine.

Gaming Industry Moving towards Excellence

The Gaming Industry has changed a lot, from games like minesweeper and Tetris to MMOs and Mobile Apps. The advancing technology is clearly reflected by new and current games. Every year games get more exciting, realistic, visually stimulating with amazing gameplay. But all the credit doesn’t go to just advancing technology, using technology properly and implementing changes to suit the needs as well as expectations of players is more important. This concept is not new and it is technically known as game quality assurance.

However the gaming industry is not what it used to be, it has spread its wings and moved on to many platforms. In the current age you can find games being published on many platforms with most common ones being the PC, popular game consoles, mobile phones and smart phones and now the ever expanding online MMOs and social games. While there are still some very good and interesting single player games available, the gaming market is increasingly moving towards games where players may either compete against each other, or work together for the achievement of a goal. Obviously the same game QA technology, criteria and procedures cannot be used on all these platforms, so how has the game testing industry adapted to these new changes and what is the outlook for the future?

Major firms such as AppLabs have already been concentrating their efforts in developing automated testing tools for mobile games and apps such as android and the iPhone. This collection of new software, tools and data will help in better game testing as well as quality assurance for mobile games. The software and game testing industry is estimated to be worth at $60 billion every year of which $13 billion is outsourced to the Asia Pacific regions. While many elements of the QA process are still handled in house, outsourcing of some tasks related to it is also increasing, much like the outsourcing of customer service and technical support operations in many companies. Game Testers will obviously have more opportunities but at the same time will require more skills and knowledge of various platforms since game testing is now no longer limited to the computer, but is done on various gaming platforms as well like gaming consoles as well as mobile devices.

With many anticipated games such as SWTOR still being in the beta phase and undergoing extensive testing there is no doubt that publishers and developers are looking for excellence with the end results and game testing is at an all-time high. It has become a necessity, since games have become more advanced and complex. After all, no gaming company wants to face the problems associated with releasing a game that doesn’t work well for all of its users, or even worse, an online game that has security holes which exposes its users to various vulnerabilities.

Email Marketing Deliverability Guidelines

The biggest obstacle for most email marketers is generally message delivery. Messages that are either blocked or sent to a ‘junk’ folder by the ISPs (internet service providers – who manage incoming mail for their account holders) is a major waste of marketing resources and directly affects an organization’s bottom line. To fully maximize email delivery, it is important to understand why delivery can be a problem and what impacts delivery. The following guide is designed for marketers who want to better understand the challenges of email marketing, and want to benefit from using the ‘best practices’ outlined by the email industry. Why delivery can be a problemToday, legitimate email makes up a very small fraction of the total email volume received by ISPs. One of the main priorities of ISPs is to protect their account holders from unwanted email. The ISPs are spending a lot of time and resources to ensure unwanted messages do not get delivered, and from the following statistics you can see why:In 2002, 25% of the total mail volume received by the ISPs was considered spam
In 2009, 95% of total mail volume received by the ISPs was considered spamSince the ISPs are often times implementing new technology, legitimate email marketers can unfortunately find that their messages have been flagged as spam, and are not being delivered to list members. The good news is that ISPs acknowledge the difference between legitimate and non-legitimate email marketers, and they are almost always willing to work with legitimate marketers on improving deliverability. What impacts deliveryThere are primarily four variables that impact email delivery:1) The quality of the marketer’s list of email addresses is extremely important! The ideal situation is to send emails only to a clean list: A list with minimal invalid addresses; every address on the list has requested (opted-in) the sender’s message; and the list has been mailed to regularly.Make sure the following has been done – especially when switching to a new email marketing solution:All addresses that have previously bounced as invalid or nonexistent are not mailed to again. All unsubscribe requests are honored and not mailed to in the future.Role account email addresses are not mailed to. Role account addresses are email addresses that normally do not (or rarely) subscribe to mailing lists. Examples include abuse@, admin@, billing@, info@, jobs@, news@, postmaster@, sales@, support@, and webmaster@. These types of addresses are usually harvested directly from websites.Always know the direct source of any email addresses added to your mailing list. Many poorly maintained lists contain spam trap addresses. A spam trap is an email address that exists solely for the purpose of luring in spam. The trap is to have addresses that are not used for communication (so they would never opt-in to a mailing list) readily available to marketers who purchase email lists or harvest email addresses from the web. Once the spam trap is sent to, the ISP or reputation monitoring service presumes the marketer is not using legitimate list building practices. The presence of even one spam trap can cause major delivery problems. The only way to prevent the presence of a spam trap address is to only mail to addresses that have directly opted-in to the actual list that is doing the mailing. There is no list of known spam trap addresses. They are always kept secret, so removing them can be difficult. The removal process consists of building a new list with addresses that have either opened a previous message or clicked on any link within a message (spam trap addresses will never open a message or click on a link within a message), and then re-opting-in every remaining member of the list.Sending to a purchased or rented list will almost always result in poor delivery. List vendors sell or rent the same lists to numerous people, so complaints will be high and open rates low.2) Email content and design also play an important role in message delivery. Message design should have a professional look with the sender’s brand clearly and quickly identifiable. The content has to be relevant to the person receiving the message, and the message should be presented in an organized manner. Make sure the subject line matches the content and its purpose. And lastly, the ‘from address’ needs to be recognizable by the recipient.3) Spam complaints are the next important factor in email delivery. ISPs monitor complaints very carefully, making this the number one reason why emails will not get through to major ISPs.What is a complaint?A complaint is generated when someone who has received an email reports it as unwanted, unrequested, or for whatever reason considers it as spam. Many ISPs such as AOL, Yahoo, and Hotmail make it very easy for their account holders to report a complaint with just the click of a button.Major ISPs now have a reporting mechanism called a Feedback loop. The member, who doesn’t know you as a sender or does not want your message, simply clicks on the Spam or Junk button, and then the ISP communicates this back to the Email Service Provider (ESP).An email marketer’s complaint rate needs to remain below 0.1% – that is only 1 complaint per 1,000 messages sent to any single domain. Higher complaints can result in delivery problems.
Reasons for complaints are fairly straightforward:Message was not requested – Only send to people who have directly requested your mailingsPoor subject line or unfamiliar FROM name – Don’t try to trick someone into reading your emailIrrelevant Content – The user is not interested in what you are sendingLong lag in communication – You haven’t emailed your list in a long timeHigh email frequency – Sending too many emails in too short a period4) Your sender reputation as an email marketer has now become a key factor for successful deliverability.
Email filtering is designed to stop the bad emails and let the good ones through. So if you have a reputation for sending legitimate emails, then your emails will get through to the inbox. Reputation is based on two areas: your company and the domains associated with your company, and the IP addresses used to send your emails. Building a good sending reputation takes time, and the only way to build it is by sending only legitimate emails and following these best practices: Send legitimate emails to clean lists and don’t get complaints.Recipient engagement has a big impact on a sender’s reputation. Engagement is measured by certain actions a message recipient takes that show the ISP whether the message was wanted or not.Positive engagement:Recipients are marking the message as ‘not spam’ if it goes to the spam folderRecipients are opening messages. The ISPs know if any message has been opened.Recipients are clicking on the links in the message.Recipients are adding the sender’s ‘from address’ to their contact list.Negative engagement:A high percentage of recipients are hitting the spam button to register a complaint.A high percentage of messages are being deleted without being opened.A low open rateFollowing these tips will give your message a better chance of not only being delivered to the intended audience, but also absorbed by the people with whom you want to connect!

Data Recovery Info, Prices, and More

Data recovery can be an expensive exercise when a current backup is not present. Not only is there the usual concern of whether the device is repairable, but the bigger issue of whether your important data, work docs, and family pictures can be recovered. It is very important that the tech you get to provide your data and file recovery services is not only well equipped, but also trained and experienced with various parameters of data recovery scenarios.Hard drive failures generally occur in two main areas – mechanical & non-mechanical. Mechanical failures are issues with the physical hard drive heads, platters, or even the hard drive’s main board. There are two steps for a data recovery service. One is to repair the drive to try and get least a read of the drive’s folder tree to which then transfer to a new drive. Non-Mechanical problems are usually where data has been corrupted, and/or there are bad sectors on the drive, or other problems with the drive leading to data access issues. For this repair type, depending on the data recovery scenario, is to attempt to repair the drive to a readable level, then perform repair and recovery processes to obtain the drive’s data. A current backup can be one of the most valuable assets when a data loss event occurs. File recovery services can be avoided with a current backup with savings of hundreds, and sometimes thousands of dollars with loss productivity and valuable documents. There exist many online cloud backup tools and also a simple external USB hard drive with backup software can assist. When you are working on important documents it may not be feasible to keep a current backup so consider setting up an Hotmail account and email various versions to this account. This process will give you a dated archive as well as a current version in the case of a hard drive failure.Generally calling around will give you an idea of costs. A data recovery lab should be able to give you a general estimation of costs, or at least give an idea of what it could cost depending on what the issues areData Recovery Prices – Approximates Only$100-$250 low level data recovery, recover deleted files, hard drive likely has minimum issues and and may not need to be replaced after recovery.$250-$700 – mid level recovery, may be mechanical issues to the drive and should not be used again after file recovery$700+ – high level recovery, mechanical damage as well as further issues with data corruption, hard drive can not be used again.

Email Marketing Software Tip 3-4 Ways of Keeping Contacts Active-edited

Email marketing software success hinges on the quality of you contact list. However, based on the email marketing software industry, your contacts will begin to drop off approximately three months after they initially opted in to your emails. I’ve mentioned in previous articles that a drop off should be expected, but there are ways to ensure that this drop off is greatly reduced, therefore making certain that the volume of your quality contacts is much greater. Here are four strategies to help you accomplish this using email marketing software.

“Preferred Customer” Offers:

As a retailer, using incentives can attract subscribers to continue their interest in your emails and services. Providing a simple promotion or discount for subscribers that haven’t opened recently can reactivate a dormant user. In addition, you can send these kinds of offers to in-active users so that they update their contact information and preferences etc. This will help gather information on their continuing needs as a customer, as well as give you current contact information.

Send Out a Questionnaire:

The best way to discover why a customer hasn’t been opening your emails is to ask them. Using email marketing software you can create a survey (that is quick and easy to fill out) so that in-actives can provide you with feedback. This is valuable information on things to avoid, but more importantly will tell you EXACTLY what particular users need from you so that you maintain them as active contacts. The survey will have questions relevant to your services, but be sure to also include things like a “preferred kind of message” section, or “best time to contact by email” section and of course a “comments and suggestions” section.

Take a Closer Look at Your Contacts:

Often times you’ll notice that there are chunks of subscribers not responding to your emails, that all have similarities. Through these similarities you might be able to determine how to get through to those groups. You might find there is a section of your subscribers that are all in a particular demographic that you haven’t been targeting in your email marketing software campaigns: young men, older women, single parents, or people in a different time zone, etc. By taking a closer look at your contacts you might get a lightning bolt idea as to why they have not previously responded and can easily remedy it so that your email marketing software yields even better results.

Testing/Mix Things Up a Little:

There is no harm in spending a little time testing-out different ways of sending to determine if it can attract a few more in-actives to the “good side”.

If you’ve always sent out email on the same day or time of day, try a few varied distribution times; see if it produces a different response. You can also change how often you’re sending your emails. If you’re accustomed to sending once a month, you may want to try sending twice a month, or once every two months.

Also, try creating different content. In your analysis of you contacts if you’ve noticed a trend among in-actives, consider packaging the content differently for this group. You can also mess around with the format of your email marketing software campaigns. Start testing the differences between text versions vs. more dynamic looking campaigns.

Another important factor is you subject line. Sometimes all it takes to attract a subscriber back to the active list is changing the subject line. A subscriber might not open the email because the subject line is the same or similar to previous messages sent. For these subscribers the assumption is that if the subject line is the same or similar, so is the content. Testing out different methods of sending out campaigns will activate the pulses on some of your more zombie-like subscribers, but will also give you valuable information on what their wants and needs are.
Successful email marketing software users are spending time on the maintenance of their contact lists; it’s time to take full advantage of your email marketing software service by making that extra effort to ensure your contacts are still interested.

Common Sense Coaching, Teaching Hitting Little League Baseball Players

One thing I learned in my 21 years coaching youth baseball is that there is no perfect way to coach hitters. I never considered myself an expert at teaching young 7-12 year old ballplayers the most refined hitting techniques. The most success I’ve had with improving hitters’ techniques is when I didn’t over coach them. I’ve attended my share of baseball conventions and hitting clinics. Sometimes I come away more confused than when I went in. The hitting coaches I enjoy the most are the ones that simplify not just the hitting technique itself, but the explanation so young players will understand it.  Most of the speakers at these clinics have incredible knowledge about hitting but I believe many should work on targeting their lessons to younger players. With that said, I would like to share the five biggest mistakes I see young players make year in and year out and what I do to correct them.

Mistake #1 is a batter stepping towards third base with his front foot. For lefty hitters it would be steppingtowards first. For young players, this might be the most common hitting mistake I see. Instead of stepping toward the pitcher or even just lifting the front foot and putting it down, many players step toward third. This can also throw off the whole rhythm of the player’s swing and also reduce the amount of power the player can put into the swing. If the batter does make contact and hits the ball fair, the ball usually is a grounder to the right side of the infield. This hitting flaw is easy to recognize. To correct it can take time. What I do is take two pieces of 2X4 wood each about 36″ long. Putting them on each side of the player’s feet during batting practice will force his front foot from stepping to the side. Very rarely do players actually step into the wood while batting. Coaches should have the batter practice stepping first without even swinging for a few pitches. One session alone will usually not solve the problem but over a period of time this can work more times than not with most young players. You can also use two bats but I prefer wood because the bats can roll.

Mistake #2 is when the batter takes too big a step forward toward the pitcher. Many hitting coaches teach that batters need to limit excessive movement of the head. When a player takes an extra big step, his head can drop a good 4-6″ or  more. Plus, stepping too far forward can limit the batter’s hip rotation and power. To help curb this, I will take a flat piece of wood like a piece of ¼” plywood 4″X36″ long. This would have to be cut to size. I put it about 6-8″ in front of the player’s front foot. He has to avoid stepping on it. Again, the coach or parent must give the player numerous repetitions to reinforce the muscle memory of the act.

Mistake #3 is when players lift their head too soon. Everyone who ever hit a baseball or a softball wants to see the result of their effort. At the youth level, batters will sometimes move their heads prematurely, losing site of the pitched ball. This is almost equivalent to a batter closing his eyes and trying to hit the ball. Young players tend to do the same thing when hitting off a batting tee. First, I have the player hit off the batting tee and he must yell “hit” upon contact. In giving them the extra challenge, this is forcing them to focus more and they will tend to keep their head and eye on the ball. The second technique is to color code a few balls.  I usually use blue painter’s tape on some and yellow duct tape on others and keep some unmarked. So we have blue, yellow and white. Coaches and parents, if you do this do not over mark the balls with the tape. One small slice about two inches on each side is sufficient. Then a coach will throw the balls and the batter must track or follow the baseball into the catcher’s glove. He will then call out the color once he recognizes it. The next step in this drill is to have the batter bat and yell out the color after swinging and making contact. I’ve had pretty good results with these two drills.

Mistake #4 is when a player stops his swing. I can’t tell you how many young players I’ve seen who have a tendency to not swing through the baseball. This happens when a player makes contact with the ball.  His swing all of a sudden slows down. We all know the importance of the follow through. Again, the batting tee has given me the best results. I stand next to the hitter and just tell him to swing through the ball.  This is a process that can take a while. Also having him take numerous practice swings is a good idea.

Mistake #5 is the upper cut. To help solve this, I use the “Chair Drill.” I set up a batting tee with a chair just behind it with the set up such that the bat must go past the highest part of the chair first. When swinging and trying to hit the ball off the tee, the batter must avoid hitting the back of the chair. I like to use the term swinging “high to low.” The player understands this and knows what he has to do in this drill. I will also take a young batter and pitch batting practice and he has to try and hit only grounders without chopping down on the baseball. This also helps solve the upper cut issue. For these remedies to work, repetition is the key. With young people, keep it simple.

My own “Hitting 101″ lesson is the soft toss drill 6-10 feet from a fence or a wall with rag ball (which are rags wrapped in masking tape). I then tell the hitter he must try and hit the ball so it lands at eye level or lower. I have no scientific proof but when the hitter does hit the ball at eye level or lower, it seems the batter is doing more things correct than not. Hitting instructors are incredibly knowledgeable. They must convey their theories so both the hitter and the layman coach like myself can understand the common nuances of this great skill. And we all have to keep it simple and supplement all instruction with relevant hitting drills.

Lady Bugs are your #1 Natural Pest Control

First, this bug has many names. Some of it’s names are:

lady bugs

ladybugs

lady beetle

asiatic lady beetle

Asian Lady Beetle

Asian Lady Bugs

Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle

The Ladybird Beetle is the correct name for a Lady bug and are not bugs but are beetles. Worldwide there are nearly 5,000 different kinds of ladybugs of which 400 are found in North America. The Convergent Lady Beetle is the most common beneficial species of Ladybird beetle in North America.

The life cycle of all Lady Bugs are mainly the same. The eggs are laid in the spring. When they hatch the larvae will feed for a couple of weeks and then pupate into adults. During the winter they will hibernate or will have died in the fall. Springtime they awake to feed and lay more eggs again.

As a form of biological pest control Lady Bugs are widely used and are the best known. Besides eating their favorite food aphids they also eat mites, scales, whitefly, mealybugs and most other soft insects. They are known to eat cabbage moths, bollworms, tomato hornworms and broccoli worms. These bugs will eat up to 1,000 aphids in it’s lifetime in both their larvae and adult stages.

The most common complaint against the Lady Bug is that when they are released they will fly off and let the aphids have their feast with your roses and tomato plants. But really only a part of your release will venture off, the rest will eat all the aphids they can find and then maybe fly off.

-There are a couple of tricks you can do to keep your Ladybugs-

1. Only release the ladybugs in the evening since they are not known to fly at night when it is cooler.

2. Take a can of soda and mix it with equal amounts of water and spray on the Lady Bugs just before you release them. The sugar will make the wings sticky for just a couple days so they will hang around at least for awhile and eat the pests. Since Lady Beetles claim certain areas home they will stay in your yard and make it their home and the females will start laying eggs in and around your garden.

-What about Lady Beetles in the house-

We are glad to have these beetles hang around and control the pests just like mother nature intended. If they stay at your place over winter they will look for a nice cozy place to stay and that is where your home comes into the picture.

These bugs don’t seem to have any logic to picking a house they just have found yours and they like it there. In the yard and garden they were welcome guests, in your home not so welcome. What we want to do is ask the lady bugs to leave. They don’t speak our language.

-So a few suggestions to try-

1. Get out your vacuum cleaner and find the hose attachment.

2. Get a nylon stocking and place it inside the hose with the top of the stocking overlapping the end of the hose and place the hose attachment end nozzle on this to keep the stocking on.

3. Start the vacuum and get the bugs cleaned up. This will keep the bugs alive and then you can take them outside and release in another area away from your home. Refrigerate for next spring or give them to a friend with a green house.

The ladybugs may be a problem outside the house also, help them relocate by:

1. Spray water at them with the garden hose.

2. Use your leaf blower and blow them away.

3. Upset the lady bugs and eventually they will move on to another location.

Needless to say they are a very beneficial bug, but for some people bugs are not their favorite. They can be helpful and at the same time create a problem. What we need to do is learn to live with our tiny friends and make sure they stay around.

College Basketball UConn vs St. John’s Odds – 700pm EST on ESPN

ESPN will feature two basketball betting games on Thursday night that will feature top 25 teams as the #9 Connecticut Huskies travel to take on the St. John’s Red Storm with a scheduled tip off time of 7:00pm EST. Following the Big East match-up in college basketball picks between UConn vs St. John’s, ESPN will also feature a Big Ten match-up between Illinois vs #25 Minnesota at 9:00pm EST. Both games can be seen live on ESPN, online at ESPN3.com or on ESPN Mobile TV while Alabama vs #24 Vanderbilt will also play at 9:00pm EST on ESPN2.

Online sportsbooks have opened with the Huskies as a 1.5-point favorite in college basketball odds vs the Red Storm for Thursday’s game. Bookmakers also favor Connecticut -125 on the money line vs St. John’s +105 for the game on ESPN basketball. UConn comes into Thursday’s game after bouncing back from two straight losses to defeat the Seton Hall Pirates 61-59 last Saturday. Although the Huskies won the game by 2-points, they failed to cover the spread in college basketball picks as 3-point favorites to go 10-6 ATS for the season. UConn has the betting trends in their favor after defeating four top 12 squads this season and hold a 4-1 record when playing on the road vs St. John’s.

That being said, the Red Storm has also taken down three top 15 teams at Madison Square Garden this season and 10-3 when playing at home. However, St. John’s will need to overcome a 59-66 loss at UCLA last Saturday after having two straight wins vs Duke and Rutgers. St. John’s lost by 7-points to the Bruins and also failed to cover the spread as 3-point favorites in college basketball odds to drop to 8-13 ATS for the season. With a win vs Connecticut tonight, St. John’s could put themselves in position to reach the March Madness tournament for the first time since 2002. The key to a Red Storm victory as underdogs in basketball betting odds will rely on free throw shooting as St. John’s has gone 11-2 when they are at the line more than 21-times in a game.

College Basketball Picks: St. John’s Red Storm +1.5

This is actually the reason why free baby magazines are such a hit among mothers of any age. Another thing about free baby magazines is that they dole out information for free. By the time they sell out their magazines, satisfied parents might buy more or recommend it to other parents who need proper guidelines when it comes to baby care. Magazine publishers will be able to get more advertisers and writers that would make their magazine more interesting. Magazine publishers have this goal set: our magazine should be better than our competitors. With that, they promote their magazines in any possible way they could. It could be by the power of the mouth or by giving out free baby magazines. Both could be effective but since parents need a guide that they could read from time to time, they prefer magazines. Nonetheless, it is more convenient and is more appreciated by many. If you want to claim free baby magazines, then make sure to visit Janelle Benson’s website to find claim your free baby magazines.

Deals for all with broadband internet

If you’re in need of a great home broadband deals, then you should search online for a deal amongst the wide range of offers available online.

Broadband internet is available country wide and can be obtained in a number of ways. The most important of these are the wired and wireless options. With wireless options, you are able to roam freely across the country and use broadband speed internet connections wherever you would normally be able to use a 3G wireless phone signal.

With the wired broadband option, you don’t have the freedom to roam, but prices will be cheaper for a similar speed connection. In addition, you can achieve much higher speeds than with a wireless connection.

Additionally, with a Home Broadband Deals, you can be sure of a solid connection that won’t drop out randomly as a wireless connection might. Also, the wired connection is always on and doesn’t need to be activated each time you wish to use it.

Shared connection on your desktop and laptop

The best aspect of wired internet is the fact that it can be shared among computers in your home, via a wireless router. So you can effectively experience a wireless internet connection within your home, on your laptop, as well as a wired connection on your main PC, meaning that your connection is shared among all the PCs in your home.

Speeds of wired connections can now reach up to 50mbps, meaning that a whole music album can be downloaded in an instant. You’ll never experience waiting for streamed videos or services and whole films can be downloaded in a few short minutes. Super fast broadband internet will open the world up to you in a way that you’ve never experienced before.

Experience the amazing new rush

The feeling of using broadband internet at super fast speeds will be akin to the first time you experienced the internet on a dial up connection, the wonder that you will feel will be phenomenal. It may also be similar to the step from dial up to broadband, where pages appeared in a flash, where once they took a few minutes to load.

A fixed connection is ideal for those that need fast connections in their home and don’t have a great need to surf on the move. A wireless connection is more suited to those who use net books or tablet PCs in public areas or need to be able to use the internet on the move perhaps as part of their job.

There are many options and the only way that you’ll truly know how to get the best one for you is to search online for the best deal, checking all of the possible options before you commit to choosing and therefore signing up to and buying any single one.
